Join FRANKFURT FRACHT MICH: Contribute ideas for your city and support great ideas of other residents!

In previous years, citizens were able to have their say on the city's finances through Frankfurt's participatory budgeting. But proposals could only be submitted within about four weeks of each year. Now, all Frankfurt residents can contribute their ideas for shaping the city and support the ideas of others throughout the year.

Workflow of the procedure:

1. Hand in your ideas on www.ffm.de (also possible via mail, fax and phone)
2. 8-week window to get support for your ideas from the date of publication on the Internet
3. Find at least 200 supporters (support is possible via this website, via mail, fax or phone)
4. Evaluation of successful ideas and decision by the magistrate
5. Report on decision on this website, to the author if the idea and the city council

Here's how it works:

In the future, citizens will be able to submit ideas and contact the city with suggestions and proposals in the general interest all year round.

Suggestions and ideas are welcome on all areas that lie within the area of responsibility of the City of Frankfurt am Main:

All Frankfurt residents can take part, regardless of age:

• Register here on the website and submit your ideas! Alternatively, you can also submit your ideas by post, fax or telephone.
• To participate - submit and support ideas - you must always provide your full name and address. Your personal data will not be published!
• Only the user name you choose yourself will be publicly visible.

The magistrate will deal with any suggestion that is supported by at least 200 Frankfurt residents:

• Support can be communicated here on the website, but also by post, fax or telephone.
• How the Magistrate decides on successful ideas is communicated at www.ffm.de, to the idea provider and twice a year in a report to the City Council.
